The book "A Few Good Men From Univac" - which I heartily recommend -
makes a general comment about moving technologies around in a business
context. The author's point is that, if management says "let's move
production of X from this site to that site", even if they think they've
moved everything, there will be a whole bunch of stuff - technical,
social, organisational - that won't work after the move...
