[Gllug] Opteron - dual core or two chips?

Indeed, but *how* do they differ? I was trying to find this out yesterday,
but AMDs web site was being less than helpful, merely repeating the mantra
"Athlon 64s for desktops, Opterons for servers". I'd rather they gave me
some indication of how the two differ so I can make up my own mind.
