I think I have (grown the lv that is), isn't that why I get this:

root at dragoneye:~# lvscan
  Incorrect metadata area header checksum
  ACTIVE '/dev/Ubuntu/root' [260.60 GB] inherit
  ACTIVE '/dev/Ubuntu/swap_1' [1.47 GB] inherit

Though lvdisplay just gives me this:

root at dragoneye:~# lvdisplay
  Incorrect metadata area header checksum
  --- Logical volume ---
  LV Name /dev/Ubuntu/root
  VG Name Ubuntu
  LV UUID uBmTdn-KARl-QTUD-fPU2-FWDH-vR5o-5y2zEC
  LV Write Access read/write
  LV Status available
  # open 1
  LV Size 260.60 GB
  Current LE 66713
  Segments 2
  Allocation inherit
  Read ahead sectors 0
  Block device 254:0

  --- Logical volume ---
  LV Name /dev/Ubuntu/swap_1
  VG Name Ubuntu
  LV UUID 8vCZf1-6K2r-DX7I-p3we-8GRh-1xB7-A3jDJT
  LV Write Access read/write
  LV Status available
  # open 1
  LV Size 1.47 GB
  Current LE 377
  Segments 1
  Allocation inherit
  Read ahead sectors 0
  Block device 254:1

So what have I got wrong?
