[Gllug] zip drive ownership

Hi - sincere apologies - I sent this first to the
subscription address. I trust this is the right address for
placing the matter before GLLUG members.
Hi peoples - a GLLUG member suggested I carried out the
tests and reports shown below. This became necessary because
I found my zip drive no longer usable - I think because when
I reinstalled Suse 10 I left the old directory/ownership
structure intact? I would much appreciate advice on the way out!
My box is HP kit - now windowless - and I am an eager new
Linux learner while an old fart ...
