You could do some Crazy Stuff(tm) here.. there is a project within wine
to implement the IE API (COM interface?) using Gecko.

This would allow you to use Gecko in place of IE's renderer, in theory.

That would then mean you could run win32 firefix inside wine using the
plugin to embed a choice of IE or Gecko, presumably...
