*why* do you want to do this ?
1) to get some money to pay for your costs/time ? How much did you sink into this ?
Would you not have had to put effort into coping with SPAM from other places ?
I am not sure how much you could get, I doubt that it would be worth the extra
effort.
2) To punnish the financial services companies -- make their life difficult ?
If this is the case: just stop being a customer of theirs, withdraw your money
and write a letter to the chairman saying why they have lost a customer.
The Information Commissioner (http://www.ico.gov.uk/) has got guidelines on
how an organisation must keep personal info confidential, etc. You may be able
to use them as a stick to hit the companies with. I still want to know *why*
you want to do this, don't you have anything else better to do with your life ?
