[Gllug] RHEL4 Desktop

Dear GLLUGers,

I seem to have lost my desktop!  The panel is still there,
but the remainder is dead.  No icons, no response to mouse
clicks, no drag and drop.

Can anyone help?  Even to getting back the default.
