[Gllug] Setting keyboard keymaps

Hi,

Is there an easy way to set the keymap for a USB keyboard that gets unplugged 
frequently? 

Basically, I'm using a laptop with a US keyboard layout, and have recently 
purchased a UK USB keyboard (to train myself to use the UK keyboard layout, 
and to make typing a little easier on my wrists).

Basically, I'd like both keyboards to work at the same time.. but tools like 
setxkbmap seem to work for *all* devices.


Any advice?
