[Gllug] SIGSEGV error

Hello Delioma,

I would suggest trying the following:

1) Consider using the newer version of titan2d - it may have fixed this bug,
and the authors may be happier supporting it!
2) Try running the software using some known good test data, ideally of a
similar size and 'nature' (I notice that the site you mention has some
sample data). If it always fails at the same point in the simulation, then
it's likely to be a combination of bad data and poor error detection on the
part of the program.
3) Recompile the original version of the software on the computer you are
currently using (though be sure to keep a backup)
4) Try running it on the computer you originally compiled it on
5) If the current computer and the original one are the same, do (3) anyway
- some libraries or other software may have changed in the meantime
6) Email the original authors with the version of Titan2d you are using,
linux (eg gubuntu X.Y) you are running, the current glibc version (I forget
how to discover this off the top of my head and am currently using a PC so
can't check), the gcc version (gcc -v) and the error message you get. If
possible, also include the versions of the same software that you had on the
original computer you compiled it on.

Cheers
