IANAL also, but the difference would seem to me to be that the output
from a screen scraper is used to re-publish the data on a web page.
There are therefore copyright issues. In fact, I'm not sure that that
the law would support a defence of "it didn't say I couldn't".
My advice is, like others, if you don't have written permission,
consult a lawyer. If you do have written permission, use a feed, not a
scraper,
