[Gllug] Petition against DRM - rejected

The Govt has been busy today, they have also replied to the ''Ban DRM'' petition.

Basically they think that DRM is a good idea but have completely misunderstood the point about it restricting
choice:

	However, DRM does not only act as a policeman through technical protection measures, it also enables content
	companies to offer the consumer unprecedented choice in terms of how they consume content, and the corresponding price
	they wish to pay.

As I see it is does not ''offer me *unprecedented* choice in terms of how they consume content''
since I am not aware of DRM working on my Linux boxes.

Time to go back & complain .......
