There has been ONTOPIC discussions, the chaps here have been talking
about how a linux desktop may be useful to an SA and others feel you
can do it all from Microsoft versions of Windows(tm) etc etc
Personally, I use OSX, I dislike windows and linux desktops, not
because what they can do and how reliable they are or are not, its
about the user interface. I like using the OSX interface. Its a
personal thing. I have used Microsoft versions of Windows(tm) and
versions of linux and Solaris in other jobs, this current job let me
choose my own workstation, and I also have a good relationship with
my boss.
If it is important to you, You should have discovered what desktop
environment you are to use at interview time :O)
