I was waiting for this example to pop up.  It illistrates a very good 
point.  People dont check the facts before believing what the papers say.

The laptops contained data that had been scrambled, i.e. bank details 
where random numbers and also no personal data, NI numbers being random 
combinations and no address data, not even real first name surname combos.

Also they stole the laptops by breaking them, to leave the bits secured 
to the desk behind.
