If they are near regent street the can hop on the 88 bus and head  
north towards Great Portland Street tube. There is a newly refubished  
pub very close to there called The Green Man. Also there is another  
pub down Cleavland Street whic is near close to Great Portland Street  
tube called the George and Dragon which is a bit smaller. And near  
that on Cleavland Street is a resturant called the Istanbul which is  
generally very good and friendly.
