[Gllug] nfs, mozilla and file locking

First thing I'd be tempted to do is: create a new user, move their
homedir to /var/something and see if FF still does it. If so, then you
know it's an NFS/networking problem. It certainly sounds like that's
what it is.
Any other networking problems?
