[Gllug] overwrite operating system

Hi

I have upgraded my federa 6 to 7 but the new system was unable to recognise 
the display card in my notebook.

When I used the ubuntu 7.04 dvd to boot up the system and it was able to 
recognise my display card. Do you think i can install the ubuntu 7.04 to 
overwrite the existing federa 7 and maintain dual boot with windows xp?

Please advise.
