That just means you'll be reimplementing lots of stuff already available
on CPAN, probably in a buggier and more unportable way. Bad move, I'd say.

(What I *do* do sometimes is take other things on CPAN and incorporate
them into a single lump, for the sake of scared customers who don't want
to install things off the big bad Internet.)
