[Gllug] freeing a "busy" tape drive without rebooting

THe Dat drive is on a SCO system with a ststic kernel  - no scsi module
to unload !

And by the time I would have frigged around opening up the case and power-
cycling the drive it was easier to reboot!

I did think about sticking a small switch in the power supply line for the
future however.
