Now it's not often that you and I disagree, Mike.  I'm not sure we are 
disagreeing here, but I just want to make sure.

Where does this myth about 64 bit processing being "slow" come from?

Sure, 64 bit binaries may be a tad bigger, but how does that equate to 
being slower to execute?
