[Gllug] Fonts in openoffice Writer

Evening

I am a little confused and would appreciate any help that people can 
give me.  When I open, openoffice writer on my machine I dont have the 
fonts I would expect to see such as Arial and Times New Roman.

I am running debian and open office 2.2.1~rc1-1.

All help and or pointers gratefully received.
