I got them from Novatech in Postsmouth. I just ordered Hauppauge Nova-T
PCI cards. In fact the two cards are different. One has a red LED and
antenna in and out on it and the other hasn't got the LED and just has
antenna in. According to my dmesg listing one is like this....
tveeprom 0-0050: Hauppauge model 90002, rev C176, serial# 123187
tveeprom 0-0050: tuner model is Thompson DTT7592 (idx 76, type 4)
and the other is
tveeprom 1-0050: Hauppauge model 90003, rev C2B0, serial# 784028
tveeprom 1-0050: tuner model is Thompson DTT75105 (idx 110, type 4)
they both think they have a...
tveeprom 0-0050: decoder processor is CX882 (idx 25)
You've probably looked at this page -> http://www.linuxtv.org/wiki/index.php/DVB-T_PCI_Cards
It describes 'old' and 'new' Nova-T's. The new ones with antenna in and antenna out, and the old ones with antenna in only and a Philips tuner. Well one of my cards, the one without the LED, just has antenna in and has a Thompson tuner - go figure... Note the comment on that page about the Nova-T 500 being troublesome, behaving like a USB device and requiring kernel >= 2.6.19. I have read about others using the Nova-T 500 and needing to treat it as if it is actually two regular Nova-T's
Was that your lsmod listing with the cards removed?? I note that you
have an SB-Live, same as in my system.
Did /dev/dvb appear in your system?
I hope that helps some more...
Ken
PS: here's the lsmod listing from an FC6 2.6.20 system
