Good idea Peter! I'll 'see' you on this and 'raise' to a suggestion of
two talks:

1 Linux VoIP from a single desktop, suitable for family users, and
'simple' (enough) to set up (ie ~ my original questions to the list)

2 Linux VoIP for a SOHO/SMB, with scope for Asterisk, specialised
routers, multi-media phones... (ie of the scale of Andy Farnsworth's
response - see list-thread)

I will be very happy to contribute as a junior-collaborator, eg to pose
questions and help a speaker formulate his/her presentation - to
test-drive prior to and even during ... (and yes, that includes Asterisk
or Open-WRT stuff, even if it is larger-scale than my questions. NB
whilst I'm new to Linux admin, I DO know how to spell call center!)

- or are the Asterisk and Open-WRT projects possibilities for third and
fourth talks?

Regards,
=dn
