Do First Direct still check to see if you're using Internet Explorer?
They used to have a preliminary page, before the logon screen, which
checked. The workaround was, of course, to go straight to the logon
screen, which is where I still go to, without any problems.

I use Firefox not Konqueror, but I previously used Opera with no problem
in the actual processing. I did have problems with the CSS when I used
Opera, so I ran my transactions with no CSS (which I suppose the bank's
IT department would regard as the ultimate in naughtiness, but, after
all, I'm paying them),
