I recently got a t-mobile pay as you go sim for a fiver just to see
what the 3G coverage was like.  It came with something like 10 days
free data, I think capped at about 1G.  I could only get 512kb/sec but
frankly that was fine for a mobile phone (if you can call the e90 just
a phone).

I'd double check the details, but it would seem that 6 of these PAYG
sims brought at ten day intervals would cost 30quid for two months,
provide ~6GB of data at 1/2MB rates.
