I have one - got it pretty much the weekend they came out in HK - and I'm
pretty happy with it.  My flatmate made me take her to buy one a few weeks
after I got mine, and she has been using it while she travels this year with
no problem.  I'm heading to the UK on Friday night and I intend to leave my
2-year-old Dell laptop at home and just bring my Eee.  I'm running FF3.0b5
on it now, which apart from issues with plugins (flash and java) is nicer,
since the footprint is smaller and the full-screen mode is very
full-screen.  When you've only got 480 pixels, anything you can do to
maximize them helps...

Allegedly the 9 inch model is available in Taiwan and HK this week - I might
pop down to the computer mall this afternoon and see if there are any to be
found.  If so, I'll report back - anyone need one handshipping to the UK?
