[Gllug] Boo for Debian .... Hooray for Debian

One Dell T105 server (far from awe-inspiring but _very_ cheap).
One Debian Etch amd64 install disk.
Result = can't recognise network card (broadcom on mboard).

Fair enough, try the beta installer from testing, maybe a newer kernel 
will sort things.
Result = can't mount the cdrom during install.

Grr...

Install stable anyway - set up raid etc.
See what packages I've got without a network to install from.
Hmm... I wonder
apt-cdrom ... <with install cd from testing>
apt-get dist-upgrade
Done!

Ah, happiness through a good packaging system :-)
