[Gllug] Virtualbox hardware

I'm compiling a kernel to use on a virtual machine under virtualbox, and I
was wondering what exactly are the "hardware specifications" of the Virtual
machine under virtualbox.I've checked the technical docs on their website
but can't find much about them.
So far i'm using generic drivers.

Can anybody point towards the right documentation?

I'm mainly interested about the network, sound, video, usb, drivers.
