Personally a swear by my IBM keyboard a KB8926, I used to buy cheap 10 quid 
keyboards before I was given this one 10 years ago and will never go back,
it seems to have the right combination of weight, keyboard key resistance,
and most importantly for me no extra keys under the delete-end-pagedown
leaving a nice ammount of space arround the arrow keys. The contacts on IBM
keyboards are self cleaning, the decals show no sign of wear and it came in
black! I also find HP keyboards OK, however find the keys abit soft of my
liking.
