I've used all three, Zenoss has the most potential of the lot - however,
I think the developers need to focus on real product rather than just
look and feel.

Zabbix is ok, if you have non technical people looking at the reports.
It wont give you the flexibility of the nagios combination ( Nagios +
NagiosExchange ). While Nagios might be hard or obscure to setup, but
well worth the effort - specially since you can get it to do almost
anything you like ( even use odd and wierd transports, like nrpe over
func ).

If I had the time, and I needed to know a lot about my infrastructure -
I'd use Nagios. If there was a deadline to lookout for, Zabbix (
although, as its been pointed out already - you need a mindset change
from Nagios to get your head around Zabbix ).

Zenoss might be worth considering in a few years again. I dont think it
does enough of what it should.
