Hi Diana

There may be a command that you can run called nvidia-xconfig that 
should automatically adjust the xorg.conf file for you, but here is my 
nvidia section, hopefully it will help:

Section "Device"
	Identifier	"nVidia Corporation NV17 [GeForce4 440 Go 64M]"
	Driver		"nvidia"
	Option		"AddARGBVisuals"	"True"
	Option		"AddARGBGLXVisuals"	"True"
	Option		"NoLogo"	"True"
