[Gllug] Advise on proxying fronting IIS

Hi, all,

I would like to seek opinion on the best way to provide access to an IIS
server to the internet.

My initial thoughts were to:

Place a squid proxy in reverse mode in front of the IIS box.
or
Place a linux box running apache and proxy parts of the name space to
the IIS server possibly using mod_security

Both do not allow the internet direct access to the IIS server.

Which in your (pl.) opinion is better, are there any other options or
trade off of the 2 or more options.

Many thanks
