There are, but I find it easy to keep the mouse still using either hand
and simply click repeatedly on one button to move between emails. The left
and right Acorn mouse buttons frequently have similar but opposite effect,
so I can page up with one, down with the other, on the same part of screen,
while the middle is the position and context relevant Menu/sub menu (I was
used to that long before Linux).
The Acorn system is designed for minimum mouse movements, and does not
require repeated mouse movements across the screen. Many keyboard
equivalents are shown in the menu, and additional keyboard shortcuts can be
programmed just as in Linux. I understand that RISCOS was supposed to be a
temporary bodge while the Acorn version of Unix was completed, but it was so
popular that it stuck. The Acorn Unix did appear, but was expensive, so much
less popular. Many Linux programmers started with Acorn computers, and I
recognise many names from those days.
