That is *way* too long. Your audience is going to be bored senseless  
by the end of it. You should edit that down to no more than about  
40-45 minutes. Split the material into multiple presentations if need  
be.

By way of example, the introduction to Puppet at http://reductivelabs.com/trac/puppet/wiki/PuppetIntroduction 
  is about 3,500 words long and takes about 5-10 minutes to read.
