On the day that Johannes Lang submitted his original question, he got
a detailed and polite reply from me.
He again asked basically the same question again yesterday, and I gave
him some considered advice.
Out this aternoon, I even went to my local WH Smith to find a magazine
with a current SuSE DVD (this months Linux Format if anyone needs it).

Again he asked why won't this wireless adapter work 'out of the box',
on an outdated version of SuSE no less.
Grumpy? Me? Yup.
