You could leaving them overnight in a bucket of bleach, or microwave
them maybe. Really though I'm sure placing a small tear in the disk with
a knife would be quite enough. The people who forage for data disks in
3rd world garbage dumps already have plenty of low hanging fruit - I
doubt they've had to resort to repairing damaged obsolete media.
