At $work[-2] people were allowed to choose between a Mac laptop and a PC 
laptop, the PC laptops were invariably Lenovo ThinkPads.

Awesome bits of kits, and the support puts Apple to shame.  If you need 
a notebook, rather than a netbook, I'd go for a ThinkPad every time.
