   A quick search found gnome-orca in the Debian distribution but no mention
of Julius. Gnome-orca appears to be a scriptable screen reader. Julius
apparently provides speech recognition. I have not used either, perhaps
someone in GLLUG has some experience, but there may be more help available
from RNIB.
