I've got the Metropolitan line out to Audax ride starts out in
"Metro-land" before. It's quite convenient.

On the topic:

I've lived in Bracknell and worked in Reading. They are both holes.
Bracknell is a soulless concrete wasteland, but unlike Reading drug
dealers do not shoot each other on a regular basis. At the time SWT
were completely useless so after a few months I ended up cycling the
full distance, about 22 miles a day; this is good if you want to watch
what you eat only because otherwise it might get away.

I don't see that a Reading job is meaningfully relevant to GLLUG.
Sure, it could be easy to get to - if you live near Paddington (does
anyone?) and it was near Reading station not in some desolate
gasworks-infested wasteland outside Reading like computer firms
actually are, but this is like offering a job in Edinburgh on the off
chance that someone happens to want to move there.

I also don't see any reason, given the history of abuse of the list,
to allow Camalyn to post at all.
