I think you need to start being a lot more systematic in your
investigations.  Several people have asked you important questions to
help you with your diagnosis, but you don't answer them.

Try filling in the following:

1) The test e-mail is sent from ....... using ........ user program and
........ mail server.
2) The original recipient e-mail server is ....... and the e-mail is
forwarded by ..........
3) If viewed on the original recipient server with ......... program the
attachments can/cannot be viewed correctly.
4) The e-mail is then forwarded to ......... mail server and when read
with ........ e-mail program the attachments can/cannot be read.
5) An e-mail sent with attachments from the middle server (the one doing
the forwarding) to the final e-mail server does/doesn't exhibit the same
problems.


You need to do a binary chop on the problem, cutting it into smaller and
smaller slices until you find the slice where the problem occurs.
