How slow is too slow ? Running a remote install at peer1's facility on 
the westcoast US, from a BE Adsl link here in the UK, for example - is 
perfectly usable ( even with the overheard of openvpn transport ). At 
install time you dont usually need more than a few bits of colour depth 
either.

ofcourse, if NX was embedded in there... that would take away the 'its 
too slow' argument!
