That's a very fine idea -- I should have checked my mail earlier, obviously.

In the absence of a better suggestion, we could meet in the normal
post-GLLUG pub at Gt. Portland St. (the Green Man IIRC).

They seem geek friendly, and I doubt they'll be too busy, although
getting a radio signal in the downstairs bar isn't going to work.

I'll see if I can get in touch with the journo ... found his email --
bit late in the day though now :-/
