[Gllug] Light weight GUI for Linux

Hi,

what kind of GUI can run on slow server with 2 GB of RAM. One of our
developer want to use ECLIPSE for java programming and it is really
memory hungry.
i tried GNOME and KDE and they also seems memory hungry, as i can not
have more memory for this server and i am looking for alternative.

could someone please suggest which GUI would light and best and can be
compatible for ECLIPSE(Open Source IDE for mostly java programming) as
well.
