[Gllug] Fedora 11 crashes at login

Wild guess here but something to try:

Enter runlevel 3 as you did before.
Run "X -configure" which should generate an X config file at 
/etc/X11/xorg.conf
Using vi, or your preferred editor(!), have a look at the file to see 
what driver it is using. Try changing it to "vesa". Save the file, then 
try starting X again.

It's worth checking your logs as well, particularly /var/log/messages 
and /var/log/Xorg.0.log
