[Gllug] Back-out plans on Debian/Redhat?

If you have hotswap hardware mirrored drives on your server, what we do is
pull one of the drives in the mirrored pair before the upgrade, and keep it
on one side just incase we have to undo it, (replacing it straight away with 
a spare so we don't run unprotected).
