This central London University is about to embark on an ambitious
project to relaunch their website and intranet.  Would you welcome the
challenge of shaping the character and style of a leading University
website?  Could you persuade a whole community of colleagues with strong
opinions to agree with your plans?  If you are passionate about the
Internet, brilliant at organising, with a flair for editing and
demonstrable experience managing large, complex websites, then you could
be the ideal candidate to lead the University into its crucial next
phase of website development.



The Role:



*	You'll report to the Director of Communications with whom you'll
define the key audiences, objectives and roles for the site and
establish both plans and priorities for development.
*	You'll work with a wide range of contributors, stakeholders and
technical supporters, especially their Information Systems and Library
Services (ISLS) team.



Your Experience:



*	You'll be a highly effective communicator, with an understanding of
the role of university websites in an increasingly competitive global
environment.
*	A good knowledge of web design software, advances in web technologies,
together with a sound understanding of the need for quality control is
essential.
*	The ideal candidate will have good knowledge of a full range of Web
technologies and will be able to demonstrate experience of managing
large complex websites.
*	Ideally the candidate will be experienced in developing websites while
working in a marketing and/or communications environment.
