Hell, with Sufficiently Advanced Technology(TM) it would suffice to grab
a few skin cells. (Sure, they've apoptosed, but just because they've
chopped their DNA into little bits and aren't repairing it anymore
doesn't mean it's gone. Grab a few cells, sequence the lot --- the
chopping into pieces actually helps here --- and compare to eliminate
errors... it's way beyond current tech to do this on the fly of course,
but it'll come.)
