Incidentally, the counts of the number of posts under each thread for 2009
is most enlightening:
1. VACANCY: Site Reliability Engineering (161)
2. VACANCY: MySQL Database Architect (Reading, Berkshire, UK) (96)
3. Perl Question - Spam Filter for NMS Form Mail (81)
4. RSI: Was VACANCY: Site Reliability Engineering (66)
5. Linux has arrived (63)
6. Camalyn Vacancy Posts (61)
7. [O/T] Grr... new keyboard (59)
8. Beagle Board (44)
9. how safe is linux against identity thief (40)
10. It is not Microsoft (37)
The job-related topics are most conspicuous, and the threads always
generated more heat than light. Perhaps there really should be on another
mailing list dedicated to job postings - with discussion forbidden on that
list to stop flamefests.
