[Gllug] Making a local Debian secondary mirror

Hello,
I have used apt-proxy, which works quite well, but I found that I need to
keep restarting it. I have used apt-cacher, but that throws everything in
together and occasionally fails. I have managed to get anonftpsync to work
well as provided by Debian, but there is an "improved" version called
ftpsync that appears to incorporate some new ideas, and so far I have failed
to get it to work.
I am trying to do an overnight partial mirror as a non-root user from
what is already a secondary mirror, place it in a specified local cache, and
then link that to the apache server in the box. It took a while to get the
configuratin correct for anonftpsync, but there appear to be less things to
specify in the new package. Unfortunately I am getting various unexpected
errors about the source and destination addresses. Is anyone else using this?

Source: rsync.mirrorservice.org/sites/ftp.uk.debian.org/debian
Destination: /var/some_cache_directory/debian

Thanks for any help.
