Well, it *shouldn't* be, but the interface isn't configured since there's only
this machine and it's currently on a mobile-phone "broadband" connection
(USB) - could X be choking if there is a non-configured interface? I hadn't
considered that there could be an issue there unless something necessary was
on a separate box.
