Shall we say that when I got this machine in April textured video
support had just landed in the ATI dev git tree and Dave Airlie's KMS
tree didn't work at all when I tried it. Now, well, I've been using KMS
for two months now and the only problem I've found is that Penumbra has
a lot of artifacts and is really slow. Everything else I've tried has
been perfect, if you ignore the lack of shaders. scorched3d has never
done anything for me before but crash the X server: now, it gets a
smooth 60fps even with every single GL graphics option rammed right up
to max. :)
